JOSEPH WOLFF (1795-1862)

  • Wolff, Joseph (b. Weilersbach Germany 1795-d. Somerset, England May 2nd 1862), 19th Cent. Levitical Jew and son of a German Rabbi. He became a Christian missionary and often interacted with Jews in Iran and the wider Middle East. His several books are full of useful details though they have to be evaluated with care.
